Riverview Apartments Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
2.1.3 Element 3: Control Flow Rates
In order to protect the properties and waterways downstream of the project site, stormwater
discharge from the site will be controlled during construction. Flow rates during construction are
proposed to be controlled using the proposed permanent storm water facilities, i.e. detention
tank and flow control riser. In general, discharge rates of stormwater from the site will be
controlled where increases in impervious area or soil compaction during construction could lead
to downstream erosion, or where necessary to meet local agency stormwater discharge
requirements.
Will you construct stormwater retention and/or detention facilities?
® Yes ❑ No
Will you use permanent infiltration ponds or other low impact development (example: rain
gardens, bio-retention, porous pavement) to control flow during construction?
❑ Yes ® No
List and describe BMPs:
Installation Schedules:
Inspection and Maintenance plan:
0 Responsible Staff:
•
CPH Project No. 0024-17-037 August 28, 2018
CP I H CONSULTANTS Page 8
