A developer is proposing to install a pile and lagging shoring wall (105 LF) parallel to and close to an existing 48 inch diameter RCP trunk sewer (circa 1948). We are concerned about the risk of damage to the sewer and are looking for some advice from an expert. Attached is some reference information and I would be happy to speak with you or someone else from Jacobs to elaborate on the situation. If this issue amounts to some professional time on your part and perhaps a memo or letter deliverable, we could roll that into the SEI to SRI intertie design amendment, otherwise hoping we might be able to just verbally discuss it in a brief informal manner.
