February 11,2021 HWA Proposal No. 2021-P025-21 10. Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations:HWA will develop geotechnical engineering recommendations regarding the stabilization of the observed landside area. This will include development of Geotechnical recommendations for retaining walls, as required. 11. HWA QA/QC: HWA will have the boring logs,analysis, and reports reviewed by a senior engineer prior to distribution to the team. 12.Prepare Draft and Final Report: HWA will prepare a draft geotechnical engineering report summarizing the results of our conclusions and recommendations. We will finalize our report after receiving any review comments from the City. 13.Task Management: HWA will provide project management and correspondence with the City as necessary. We will provide progress reports with each monthly invoice,upon request. ASSUMPTIONS • One day of limited access drilling will be completed. • No soil contamination testing,or disposal is assumed. • Traffic control will consist of drilling along the road shoulder and not require flaggers • No stormwater analysis will be completed. • No in-person meetings will be required. COST ESTIMATE Based on our understanding of the project and assumed site conditions,we propose to provide the above geotechnical engineering scope of services on a time and materials basis not to exceed$19,820. However,if during the project unexpected conditions are revealed that require alteration of our work scope,or the Client or Owner request analyses and evaluations which would require a level of effort beyond the scope of our proposed study and budget,we will contact you immediately to discuss any necessary modifications to our scope of services and/or budget estimate.
