The entire Everett community is encouraged to read"Stamped:Racism,Antiracism,and You" by Jason Reynolds and Dr.Ibram X.Kendi. There is a series of programs including a virtual keynote presentation with the authors, storytimes,lectures,and book discussion groups. The total cost of the program is$31,750. Everett Public Schools,ECC and WSU- Everett have each committed to contribute$5,000. This reappropriation requests to carry forward$10,000 to help pay for this program. The balance of$6,750 will be paid from the Library's original 2021 budget.
