-4 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That <br /> 42nd STREET, from Grand Avenue to Crescent Avenue <br /> CRESCENT AVENUE, from 42nd St . to Columbia Avenue <br /> THOMSON AVENUE, from Crescent Avenue to Columbia Avenue <br /> COLUMBIA AVENUE, from Thomson Avenue to Crescent Avenue <br /> MARYLAND AVENUE, from 350' E. of Federal St. to Federal <br /> St. <br /> EASEMENTS in Block 24 of Victory Heights Addition <br /> be improved by the construction of 6" and 4" water mains, together <br /> with fire hydrants and all necessary appurtenances therewith and <br /> by doing such other work as may be necessary to make a complete <br /> improvement, all according to the plans and specifications <br /> prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and: <br /> specifications are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 2 : A local improvement district is hereby created <br /> which district shall include the property herein described: <br /> Fraction of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 8, Plat of <br /> Terrace Addition to Everett; Frac. of Lots 1 and 2, <br /> Block 9, Plat of Terrace Addition to Everett; Lots 1, 2, <br /> 3, 4, and 5, and fraction of Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block <br /> 14, Victory Heights Add. to Everett; Frac . of Lots 1 and <br /> 2, Lots 3, 4, and 5, and fraction of Lots 6, 7, and 8, <br /> Block 15, Victory Heights Add. to Everett; the north <br /> half of vacated Columbia Ave . lying adjacent to said <br /> fraction of Lot 8, Block 15; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, <br /> Block 16, Victory Heights Add, to Everett; Lots 1, 2, <br /> 3, and 4, Block 24, Victory Heights Add . to Everett and <br /> that portion of vacated Thomson Ave . lying adjacent to <br /> said Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of said Block 24 which lies <br /> westerly of a line midway between the west margin of Grand <br /> Avenue and the centerline of the proposed improvement in <br /> said Block 24, Victory Heights Add. to Everett; a fraction <br /> of the unplatted tract in the SEt of NW* of Sec . 31, <br /> T2SN, R5 E.W.M. which lies west of the west boundary of <br /> Block 15, Victory Heights Add. to Everett and adjacent <br /> westerly to the west lines of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 of <br /> said Block 15; and that portion of the unplatted tract <br /> lying north of Lot 14 and east of Lot 2, Block 14, <br /> Victory Heights Add. to Everett and lying westerly of <br /> the east line of Lot 2, Block 9, Plat of Terrace Add. <br /> to Everett produced southerly in its platted direction <br /> to the north line of Lot 14, Block 14 of said Block 14, <br /> Victory Heights Add. to Everett. <br /> SECTION 3: The total cost of the improvement shall be <br /> entitled to a credit to be given by the City Water Department of <br /> the City of Everett, which credit is in the sum of $5,246.28 and <br /> which sum shall be subtracted from the total cost of the improve- <br /> ment, the balance of the costs of the improvement shall be borne <br /> -2- <br />
