MDESIGNu <br /> August 11, 2015 <br /> Polygon Northwest Company <br /> 11624 SE 5`h Street, Suite 100 <br /> Bellevue,WA 98005 <br /> Attention: Mr. Nick Abdelnour <br /> Response to City of Everett Comments <br /> Everett Riverfront Eclipse Site <br /> Everett, Washington <br /> GeoDesign Project: Polygon-128-01 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> We are pleased to submit this letter that provides our responses to the comments from the <br /> geotechnical engineering peer review that was performed for this project. The peer review report <br /> was dated July 28, 2015 and prepared by GeoEngineers, Inc. (GEI) on behalf of the City of Everett <br /> (City) (File No. 0661-101-00). <br /> The Everett Riverfront Eclipse Site project is located in Everett, Washington. The site is <br /> approximately 16 acres and located at 3300 to 3600 Chestnut Street. We understand that <br /> Polygon Northwest Company is proposing to develop the site with approximately 190 <br /> townhomes. New roads and utilities will be constructed for this project that will eventually be <br /> owned and maintained by the City. There are several existing City utilities that currently cross <br /> the property. <br /> Numerous geotechnical reports have been previously prepared for this site by geotechnical <br /> consultants. We have reviewed the following reports and have based our analysis and <br /> recommendations on the information in the reports: <br /> • Earth Consultants, Inc., 2001. Preliminary Geotechnical Engineering Study;Eclipse Mill <br /> Property;Eclipse Mill Road Near Pacific Avenue;Everett, Washington, dated January 23, 2001. <br /> Prepared for Eclipse Lumber Company. Project No. E-7989 <br /> • URS, 2009. Eclipse Mill Road Pipeline Protection Project, Volume 1 of 2, Geotechnical <br /> Investigation and Evaluation of Existing Pipelines, dated May 28, 2009.
