"C"; thence westerly along the south marginal line of Madison Avenue extended and the south margin of Madison Avenue to the east marginal line of Beverly Blvd. ; thence northerly along the east marginal lines of Beverly Blvd . and Colby Avenue to the south lines of 60th Street (Fisher St . ) ; thence easterly along the south line of 60th Street (Fisher St . ) and the N line of Blocks 1 and 2, Plat of Lang's First Addition to the N . E. corner of said Block 1, Lang's First Addition; thence southeasterly to the northwest corner of Block 1, Plat of Pinehurst Div. "A"; thence easterly along the north lines of Blocks 1, 7, and 8, Plat of Pinehurst Div. "A" and said north line produced easterly in its present platted direction to a point of intersection with the east marginal line of Old Broadway Cutoff as now established; thence northerly along the east marginal line of old Broadway Cutoff to a point of intersection with the west marginal line of Primary State Highway No. 1 (LIMITED ACCESS) which point is 650 ft . M/L north of the south line of Section 32, T 29N, R 5 E.W.M. as measured along the east marginal line of Old Broad- way Cutoff; thence northerly along a line 100 ft . easterly of and parallel to the east line of the Plat of View Acres and Evergreen Cemetery as platted to a point of intersection with the north line of Sec . 32 and the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2: That upon the annexation of the property hereinabove described, said land thereof annexed shall become a part of Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all of its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force, PROVIDED that no property within the limits of the annexed territory shall ever be taxed or assessed to pay any portion of any indebtedness of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the time of such annexation; nor shall any of the annexed property be released from any taxes or assessments levied against it, or from liability for payment of outstanding bonds or warrants issued prior to such annexation. SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Everett is hereby directed upon passage of the ordinance of annexation to file with and deliver to the Board of County Commissioners of Snohomish County, Washington, a certified copy of this ordinance of an- nexation. SECTION 4: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect on February 2 7 th , 1962 .
