NA / AN <br /> GROUP <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> MEP (Update as per Sept 4 Scope definition) <br /> Location/Task#1: Existing 650kW Generator [Installation sequence 2] <br /> • Provide new 2000A switchboard in electrical room extension to support larger generator and full rating of <br /> existing PUD transformer. Switchboard shall have sufficient breakers to support re-routed main feeder from PUD <br /> transformer, connections to the three existing MCCs in the electrical room, new permanent 1000kW/1250kVA <br /> generator, roll-up temporary generator, roll-up load bank with all controls necessary for system automation, <br /> backup manual operation, and online or offline scheduled or manual generator testing. <br /> • Provide new indoor 1000kW/1250kVA Cummins engine-generator with Cummins generator controller <br /> and paralleling operation interface. <br /> • Existing paralleling switchboard will be removed. Station battery and charger and HMI panel for paralleling system <br /> will be located where existing parallel switchboard sits. <br /> • Supported operations will include local island mode, site island mode (parallel with other site generator), and <br /> parallel operation/bumpless transfer with PUD. <br /> • Exterior Cam-lock connectors for temporary generator and roll-up load banks. Automated generator testing will <br /> be available when roll-up load bank is connected. <br /> Location/Task#2: Existing 1250kW/1563kVA Generator [Installation sequence 4] <br /> • Provide new 2000A switchboard to support larger generator. Switchboard shall have sufficient breakers for <br /> connection to the existing dual-supply MCC in the main pump room, new permanent 1500kW/1875kVA generator, <br /> roll-up temporary generator, roll-up load bank with all controls necessary for system automation, backup manual <br /> operation, and online or offline scheduled or manual generator testing. <br /> • Replace both existing service entrance switchboards that have fused main switches (including brand new SWBD#1). <br /> Install new circuit breaker switchboards with electrically-operated breakers. Integrate breaker controls with Location <br /> #2 generator paralleling switchboard to support normal, site generator and islanded operations. <br /> • Provide new indoor 1500kW/1875kVA Cummins engine-generator with Cummins generator controller and <br /> paralleling operation interface. <br /> • Existing paralleling switchboard will be removed. Station battery and charger and HMI panel for paralleling system <br /> will be located near the new generator switchboard. <br /> • Supported operations will include local island mode, site island mode(parallel with other site generator), and <br /> parallel operation/bumpless transfer with PUD. <br /> • Exterior Cam-lock connectors for temporary generator and roll-up load banks. Automated generator testing will <br /> be available when roll-up load bank is connected. <br /> Location/Task#3: no existing generator [Installation sequence 1] <br /> • Provide new breaker section in Backwash Building electrical room to support connection of temporary <br /> generator. <br /> • Exterior Cam-lock connectors for temporary generator. <br /> Location/Task#4: Master Control Cabinet [Installation sequence 2 for temporary, 4 for permanent] <br /> • When the first permanent generator is installed, a new master control cabinet will be temporarily placed next to <br /> the existing master control system. <br /> • As each existing generator is disconnected, its controls in the existing master cabinet will be disabled. <br /> • When the last new generator is installed, the existing system shall be removed.The new system shall be moved <br /> into the original system's location. <br /> • The new system shall have a gateway to the site SCADA system so generator and paralleling switchboard status is <br /> visible to site operations and remote locations. <br />
