Section 509.4.2. We have <br />indicated these doors to be self -closing via coded note 6 on the door schedule, refer to sheet A3.15. <br />✓5. Smoke dampers should be shown for the duct penetrations of smoke -wall assemblies surrounding <br />the incidental use areas. Section 509.4.2 Combination smoke fire dampers are indicated at these <br />duct penetrations. Refer to the Mechanical HVAC Plans, Sheets 3.01, M3.03, M3.09 & M3.11. <br />6. Please provide a reference to a detail for the wall to floor/ or roof/ceiling condition for the walls <br />capable of resisting the passage of smoke. Section 509.4.2. We have added details 15 & 16/G2.04 for <br />this'condition, and added references to them via Code Plan General Note #15 on Sheet G2.01. <br />7. The requirement for an approved carbon monoxide detection system should be noted with the <br />deferred submittals. Section 915.2.3. Please clarify�ow the egress widths are accommodated for the occupant load assigned to Vestibule <br />- R b 170. Sheet G1.01 shows 202 occupants going into that room from the Commons in Building 2. There <br />are an additional'490 persons coming from the Gymnasium in Building 1. It appears then that there <br />are 692 occupants assigned to the exterior exit doors (170c & 170d) however only 490 are shown. <br />Section 1004.1. The 202 occupants originally exiting from the Commons through Vestibule 170 have <br />been reallocated to exit at doors 100A, 122 & 122A. <br />a. There are no occupants from the 2" d floor assigned to Doors 170 however there are 173 <br />assigned to the exterior exit doors (however their occupant load doesn't accumulate per <br />Section 1004.1.1.3). We now show the 173 Level occupants at Door 170. ,. <br />Emergency egress lighting should be provided at all exterior r+d serving an exit door. Section <br />1008.3.2. Refer to Sheet E1.24 for exterior pole mounted lights, and Sheets E2.03 — E2.08 for <br />7 t vvc z building 9 mounted lights. A.. <br />3. It should be verified that the elevator can accommodate a stretcher in a lay -down position. City of <br />Everett Ordinance revision to Section 3002.4. The elevator specification calls for a minimum car <br />inside of 7' 7-7/16' W x 5' 6-3/16' D. This will accommodate 24" x 84" stretcher in a lay -down position. <br />/4. Two-way communication should be shown at the 2"d-floor elevator landing in accordance with Section <br />1009.8. We have added a call box adjacent to the elevator on Level and a master box adjacent to <br />the fire alarm annunciator on Level 1, for the two-way communications.
