Observe the installation of all perimeter drains, wall drains, and capillary break layers to
verify conformance with construction plans.
7. Provide geotechnical engineering support by reviewing submittals, answering questions,
and commenting on any earthwork change requests that arise during construction.
Upon request, we will submit a proposal for providing these construction monitoring, inspection, and I
testing services. A proposal is best prepared after the project plans and specifications have been
approved for construction and a preliminary construction schedule is available.
6.0 LIMITATIONS
This report has been prepared for the exclusive use of Everett School District and their consultants for I
specific application to this project, in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical engineering
practice. The conclusions, recommendations, and opinions presented in this report are based, in part, 111
on the explorations Amec Foster Wheeler performed and used for this study and on information
provided for the proposed project. Geotechnical information obtained from borings represents I
conditions at specific locations at the time of the explorations and may not reflect conditions at other
locations and different times. If variations in subgrade conditions are observed at a later time,
additional explorations may be needed, and we may need to modify this report to reflect those I
changes. We are available to provide geotechnical engineering throughout the design process and to
perform monitoring services throughout construction. We recommend that a qualified geotechnical I
engineer be present to observe all earthwork and foundation preparation.
7.0 REFERENCES I
James P. Minard, 1985.
