i
Erosion control procedures, as described in this Construction SWPPP and illustrated on the
design plans, if properly implemented, should mitigate anticipated erosion effects from the
proposed filling on the project site.
The success of erosion control measures is usually related to the Contractor's attention to
maintenance of such measures. However, in some instances, even with proper attention being
paid to erosion control, measures such as those shown on the plans are unable to prevent the
discharge of turbid water. In this event, secondary measures may be required such as
Construction Stormwater Chemical Treatment(BMP C250)or Construction Stormwater Filtration
(BMP C251). Additional cover measures may be implemented, including Sodding (BMP C124)or
Polyacrylamide for Soil Erosion Protection (BMP C126). Descriptions of the above-listed BMPs
are provided in Volume II of the SWMMWW and will be provided to the Contractor, if required.
7.13 Protect Low Impact Development BMPs
There are no Low Impact Development BMPs proposed with this project.
8.0 Construction Sequence and Phasing
The proposed improvements will be completed in a single phase. A general construction I
sequence is as follows:
1. Schedule and attend a pre-construction meeting with City of Everett, owner, and engineer. I
2. Flag or fence all clearing limits.
3. Install construction entrance and erosion control measures. I
4. Perform mass grading per plans.
5. As areas are disturbed/cleared, provide TESC measures. I
6. Maintain erosion control measures in accordance with City standards and manufacturer's
recommendations. I
7. Relocate erosion control measures or install new measures so that, as site conditions
change, the erosion and sediment control is always in accordance with City erosion and
sediment control standards.
8. Upon completion of the project, stabilize all disturbed areas and remove BMPs upon
approval of the owner or engineer. I
9.0 Construction Schedule
Construction is scheduled to begin in summer of 2019. 1
10.0 Financial/Ownership Responsibilities
A reclamation guarantee will be provided at the owner's expense. An approximate cost of the
guarantee is shown below:
$1,500 per disturbed acre* 1.32 acres =$1,980(use$2,000) I
1
Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
Everett 7-Eleven 10 0000
2180309.10
