Measurement and payment will be on a unit price basis in accordance with the prices <br /> set forth in the proposal for individual work items. Where work is required but does <br /> not appear as a separate item in the proposal, the cost for that work shall be included <br /> and absorbed in the unit prices named in the proposal. Unit Price—an amount of compensation to be paid to the Contractor for a specific <br /> unit measurement of material, products, and work. <br /> 2. Lump Sum—the total amount of compensation to be paid to the Contractor for the <br /> described item material, products, and work. <br /> 111 D. Measurement of Quantities <br /> 1. Measurement by weight: <br /> a. Weigh on commercial calibrated truck scale per WSDOT Standard Specification <br /> Section 1-09.2. Weigh tickets must include time of weighing on standard <br /> printout. <br /> b. Notify the Owner's Representative of proposed disposal sites for debris, <br /> objects, and soils removed from the construction site. <br /> c. Submit weigh tickets to the Owner's Representative <br /> 2. Measure by area: <br /> ' a.
