I <br /> Bidders attention is directed to the following laws and regulations; Chapter <br /> 39.04.180 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Part N of Chapter 296-155 of <br /> the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Washington Industrial Safety and <br /> Health Act, Chapter 49.17 RCW and 29CFR 1926 of OSHA. <br /> Shoring shall be constructed with provisions made to allow Owner's Representative <br /> to enter shored trench at any time. <br /> Measurement and payment shall be based on a percentage of the work completed <br /> requiring shoring and trench safety. <br /> 4. Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum I <br /> The lump sum bid shall constitute full compensation for materials, work, labor and <br /> equipment necessary to provide erosion control, complete and in place throughout <br /> the term of the Contract. Also included are all costs for temporary and permanent <br /> erosion control measures needed to prevent silt from entering the storm drain, <br /> trenches or water courses or surrounding property as required in permits or as <br /> necessitated by climate, weather conditions and the Contractor's activities. <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for dust control, <br /> including but not limited to watering down work site, covering stockpiles, limit <br /> traffic and traffic speeds, maintaining plant cover as long as possible, street <br /> cleaning and sweeping. I <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for additional <br /> temporary erosion control measures which may be required to support the <br /> Contractor's construction methods, including but not limited to, settling and <br /> filtering of water from dewatering operations, catch basin inserts, diversion and <br /> control of surface runoff into or out of trenches, straw mulch, protection of <br /> delivered or stockpiled backfill materials, protection of unsuitable or surplus <br /> materials and control, care and cleanup of petroleum products or other <br /> construction byproducts. , <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for temporary erosion <br /> control measures that may be required at all access roads, haul routes, staging I <br /> areas, material and equipment storage yards and other sites occupied or used by <br /> the Contractor. <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all cost for transferring and 111 <br /> maintaining all temporary erosion control permits including but not limited to all <br /> monitoring, sampling, reporting and other activities under the CSWGP.
