I <br /> site during the project construction, material storage areas, stock pile areas, and <br /> other temporary improvements as required to complete the project work. Also <br /> included is the costs for bonds, insurance, permits, demobilization and removal of <br /> all temporary improvements upon completion of the project. <br /> The amounts paid for mobilization in the contract progress payment will be based <br /> on the percent of the original contract amount that is earned from other contract <br /> items, as follows: <br /> a. When 5% is earned, either 50% of the amount for mobilization or 5% of the <br /> original contract amount, whichever is the least, will be paid; <br /> b. When 10% is earned, either 100% of the amount for mobilization or 10%of the <br /> original contract amount, whichever is the least, will be paid; <br /> c. When all work is completed, amount of mobilization exceeding 10% of the <br /> original contract amount will be paid. <br /> This schedule of mobilization progress payments will not limit or preclude progress <br /> payments otherwise provided by the contract. <br /> 2. Surveying and Construction Staking <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> The lump sum bid shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor and <br /> equipment for the setting and monitoring the location, elevation, alignment <br /> and grade of the work, including establishing and staking of the proposed <br /> facilities, utility improvements and other easement lines, public right of way lines, <br /> and existing and new fences, as required, to complete the work. This includes all <br /> work necessary to provide construction survey, control monuments, temporary <br /> benchmarks, staking of facilities, roadways, walls, boundaries, and other related <br /> surveying/staking necessary for construction per Details and Specifications. <br /> 3. Trench and Excavation Safety Systems <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> The lump sum bid shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor and <br /> equipment, complete and in place, for work necessary to protect all excavations. <br /> The installation of shoring and trench safety systems includes, but is not limited to, <br /> shoring, benching, bracing, excavating, sheeting and trench boxes, and contractor <br /> designed excavation support systems as required by these Contract Documents <br /> and pertinent laws and regulations. <br /> Replacement of Reservoir 2 Measurement and Payment <br /> WO# UP3658 01 22 00- 3 <br />
