Sheet D180 has 3 locations of 30"CCP to be capped and abandoned.One location on Charles The other two locations(eastern end of Charles)are WSP.For all three,the pipe to get capped will be returned to service.Square Ave has keynote 16 calling for detail 1,to field weld existing wire mesh to the steel pipe.The Note 3 has been updated to refer to entirely fill pipe with CDF. 1 other locations on Federal Way call out note 6 referring to specification 33 1150.In 33 1150 3.2,In Place Abandonment of Piping,it only calls for pipe to be cut and plugged with a minimum Walsh of 2 feed of non-shrink grout.Is the intent of the 2 location on Federal Way to include the same detail as the location on Charles?Or are the locations on Federal way to just have a dish head cap welded to pipe excluding welding the wire mesh to the pipe and grouted? Utility transformer and pad are the property of Snohomish PUD(PUD).For bidding purposes,assume the requirements of 26 27 00- Sheet E4 shows a proposed pad for the utility transformer.There is no detail for the pad itself. 3.1,A apply.Any modifications required by PUD will be tracked by force account. 26 27 00-3.1(A)(Equipment Bases)states"Unless otherwise indicated,bases shall be poured-in- 2 place concrete,nominally 3.5 Inches high and one inch larger on all exposed edges than the equipment to be mounted.Does this apply to the outdoor transformer pad?Will the pad Walsh require reinforcing?The same question for Sheet D120 Note 12 calling for relocating security camera and providing a new concrete pad.Please provide a detail for the transformer and security camera concrete pads. The spec section 3.6 B.states"A single/14 AWG negative...northeast corner of the XXX building Correct,it is the chlorine building.For bidding purposes,assume 100 feet of direct buried f14 AWG. 3 adjacent to Reservoir 4."Is this the Chlorine Building shown on drawing C410?Is this cable Norton routing shown in the plans anywhere? Drawing 0120 has a callout in about the middle of the page which says"See Note 6'. Note 6 See Addendum No 7 4 does not exist on that page.Please resolve. At key note Al,there is a call out for a 60 CY thrust block.We find this to be enormous size (equivalent to 18'x 18'x 5').Perhaps this is a typo.This Is for a welded steel pipeline.Would you 8 rather have an encasement of 60 CY of Controlled Density Fill(CDF)?Not all the"tie-ins to JW Fowler This thrust block is designed as a gravity block.It is not certain at this time if the existing steel pipe is welded.Other tie-in locations existing piping"have thrust blocks.Please resolve. will have restrained joints per bid items 5 and 6. I he 12"Storm Urain(SU)system is shown in multiple locations as connecting to the 24"LA- Reservoir 4 is not used for potable water.The storm drains are intended to empty in Reservoir 4. piping.The 24"OF piping dumps into Reservoir 4.Did you intend to provide a potential pathway 9 for whatever is collected in these storm drain pipelines to flow to Reservoir 4?Please review and JW Fowler resolve. I he Lauren Valve Connection detail(2/C490)does not match the configuration that is shown on See Addendum No 7 10 Dwg.C490.Please provided corrected drawings that match. JW Fowler I he Pipeline I est pressures given seem to be quite a bit larger than industry standard.Higher See Addendum No 7.Test pressure is based on 150%of working. than neccessary lest pressures are very dangerous.Typically we see pipline test pressures which 11 are 125%of operating pressure.Please consider revising these test pressures downward to JW Fowler comform with this accepted standard.
