PUBLIC WORKS
CSE
April 22, 2016
Brent Diamond
Director of Campus Facilities & Security
Trinity Lutheran College
2802 Wetmore Avenue
Everett, WA 98201
Subject: Elevator Red Tag
Dear Mr. Diamond,
This is in response to your email request dated April 21, 2016 for City of Everett approval of a
voluntary 'Red Tag' of one of the two side-by-side conveyances at the downtown Everett
campus. This is then to confirm that the City of Everett has not objection for one of the elevators
to be temporarily decommissioned as long as the process can be reversed in the future when
necessary. If one of the elevators has a larger cab than the other,we would request that the
larger of the two elevators be left as the operational conveyance to help accommodate a stretcher
in a lay-down position.
As a side note, I was very sad to find out that the school would be shutting down. Over the past
several years I have had the opportunity to work with some very fine people representing the
college. I hope that in the future the school will be able to open again in Everett. To that end,
please let me know if I may be of further service.
Sincerely,
Tony ee
Building Official
City of Everett
(425)257-8812
tlee@everettwa.gov
CITY OF EVERETT • 3200 Cedar Street • Everett, WA 98201 • (425)257-8810 • Fax (425) 257-8857
