Client Name: <br />Project Name: <br />Exhibit Dated: <br />EXHIBITA <br />Scope of Work <br />City of Everett <br />California Street Ped/Bike Corridor (CM-0422_(024)) <br />April 7, 2021 TG. 1.20312.00 <br />Scope of Services <br />Transpo Group USA, Inc. (Consultant) will provide engineering services to the City of Everett (City) for the <br />development and analysis of alternatives, public outreach, and design of bicycle and pedestrian <br />improvements in the City of Everett, Washington. The City does not currently have a preferred alternative <br />design for the corridor and is seeking assistance from the Consultant in identifying the preferred <br />alternative. <br />The Consultant will lead the project and work in coordination with subconsultants, AcutanzaSTS, Osborn <br />Consulting, and KBA, Inc., to provide a consistent overall project delivery, including outreach, alternatives <br />design and analysis and final design across all related engineering disciplines. The scope of services to <br />be provided by these subconsultants is provided as an attachment to this Scope of Work. <br />The Consultant work program is organized into four sequential phases: <br />Phase 1. Preliminary Analysis and Design <br />Phase 2 Design Engineering <br />Phase 3 Bid Support Services <br />Phase 4. Construction Engineering <br />Each Phase is further broken down into Tasks as described below. <br />Added services to the Scope of services described herein may require a negotiated fee and schedule <br />modification between the Consultant and the City. The Consultant will notify the City as soon as possible <br />of the anticipated impact of changes to project elements on fee and schedule. <br />The City reserves the right to terminate consultant services at the end of each phase or task described <br />below. This termination notice will be delivered in writing. Upon termination of services, the Consultant will <br />deliver to the City all electronic files prepared for all tasks and phases preceding termination as described <br />below. <br />Project Definition <br />The Consultant has developed this scope with the assumption that the specific project elements identified <br />in the RFQ are the basis of design. The following describes the key project components. <br />Segment A: California Street Multimodal ilmprovements <br />Project Limits. Broadway and California Street intersection to Maple Street and California Street <br />intersection. Approximately 2,500 linear feet. <br />Project Elements Provide a bicycle facility on or adjacent to California Street between the project <br />limits. Bicycle facility shall consist of pavement markings, signage, wayfinding signage, and may <br />include vertical elements (concrete or physical devices) in buffers, and stop control modifications. <br />Provide sidewalk in any sidewalk gaps on both sides of the road within the project limits.
