11.Prepare draft and final geotechnical report.The report will be finalized after comments <br /> from the City and design team are received. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. The City will provide the street use permit at no cost to the geotechnical consultant. <br /> 2. Provide any rights of entry. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Drilling will be in City right of way. <br /> 2. WSDOT standard traffic control plans, requiring lane closures with flaggers,will be <br /> adequate. <br /> 3. Two(2) revisions will be required for the ROW use permit application and approval <br /> process. <br /> 4. The borings that penetrate pavement will be through asphalt. Pavement will be patched <br /> with quick drying cement or Aquaphalt®. No saw cutting of pavement, hot mix asphalt or <br /> borings drilled through cement concrete pavement will be required. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Geotechnical Exploration Pan (PDF format). <br /> 2. Draft and final geotechnical report(PDF format).. <br /> Task 400 — Development of System Facility Operating <br /> Strategies <br /> Task Objective <br /> The Port Gardner Storage Facility and the Sewer M improvements have the potential to reduce <br /> or eliminate flow from the Sewer M drainage basins to the 17th Street Interceptor. This may <br /> provide the opportunity to reduce the impact on conveyance and treatment facilities downstream <br /> of the 17th Street Interceptor. This task will evaluate the feasibility of various control strategies <br /> to reduce the flow loading on the 17th Street Interceptor. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Identify flow control opportunities to reduce the flow loading on the 17th Street <br /> Interceptor. These will include: <br /> a) Reducing or stopping flow from Port Gardner Basin Pump Stations Lift Station 4, 5 <br /> and possibly a future Lift Station X as currently defined as part of the PGSF project. <br /> b) Developing control strategies for the motor actuator on the gate at the Sewer M Flow <br /> Control Structure to divert storm water to the pipe on the Grand Avenue Pedestrian <br /> Bridge. <br /> c) Modifying the diversion weir in the Sewer M Flow Control Structure to divert <br /> combined sewage to the Grand Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. <br /> City of Everett—17th Street Interceptor Irnprovemen 11 Scope of Services <br />
