Continuing with the previous comment, the existing concrete beams at the Main Floor level <br /> appears to act as a collector. Loads from the Main Floor and Roof level must transfer to the <br /> existing concrete shear walls. Calculations substantiating the design of the beams per ASCE 7- <br /> 10 Sections 12.3.3.4 and 12.10.2.1 shall be submitted for review. The beams shall be checked <br /> for combined axial and flexural loading. See IBC Section 1613.1. <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> 31.The"Parking and Drainage Plan"Sheet 3-of-3 show a concrete ramp and site walls outside the <br /> northwest corner of the building. The sheet indicates the ramp and walls are provided in the <br /> structural drawings. Details and calculations should be submitted for review. See IBC Sections <br /> 107.2.1 and 1604.1. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
