1. PROJECT OVERVIEW
This document is intended to provide engineering information necessary to support_ the
building permit application to the City of Everett for the proposed SFR and driveway
proposed Zn this lot:. The site is located at 5306 East Drive, Everett, WA 98203; refer to
Figure 1 for a vicinity map. This project will take access from the existing shared driveway
to the north that takes access from East Drive to the east. The parcel area is
approximately 0.14 acres. The existing site, in the area of disturbance consists of lawn.
The slope of the site, in the area of disturbance, is flat and averages less than 3 percent
down to the north/northwest, with steep slopes just off -site to the southwest. The new SFR
will .be located. approximately 12 feet.from .the eastern property line and 20 feet from the
northern property line.
This project proposes to construct more than 2,000. sf and less than 5,000 sf of new. and
replaced impervious surfaces. Therefore, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to all of the
new and replaced impervious surfaces for this project along with all the converted
vegetated areas. The proposedimpervious surfaces will either be infiltrated on -site or
tightlined to an existing storm system via a perforated stubout connection. Included on the
following page is a copy of the MR flow chartfrom the 2019 Department of Ecology
Stormwater-Management Manual for Western Washington (DOE SWMMWW).
Figures 2 & 3 are provided to show the existing and- developed basins and runoff
conditionsfor this site. The runoff. in the existing conditions sheet -flows gradually over
vegetated surfaces to the north/northwest toward the northwestern property lines.
Due to the size of this project, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to the proposed drainage
design as noted .above. The stormwater design has been laid out to meet the 2019 DOE
SWMMWW.
Moir SP Lot 6 20-0108
February 2020
.ReWsed.• 0dober2020 Page 3
