GeoTest Services, Inc. Date 10/30/2019 <br /> North Sound Behavioral Health Env.Sampling Project Number 19-0740 <br /> Sampling equipment was cleaned and gloves were changed between each collection point to <br /> prevent cross-contamination. The soil sample containers consisted of two standard 8 oz. wide I <br /> mouth glass jars with Teflon lined lids. Each sample was labeled, immediately placed in a cooler <br /> and chilled to approximately 4 degrees Celsius. The samples were immediately delivered to ALS <br /> Laboratory Group, located in Everett, Washington. DOE recommended sample collecting, <br /> handling, chain of custody records and protocol were maintained throughout the project. <br /> Standard laboratory analytical analysis required 4 full business days to complete. <br /> Our field screening consisted of visual inspection of the soils within the excavations and olfactory <br /> "sniff testing". <br /> SUBSURFACE SOIL CONDITIONS <br /> Approximately three inches of asphalt was present at both exploration locations. The asphalt is <br /> underlain by dense, brown,dry sandy gravel interpreted as crushed surfacing base course. Dense <br /> to very dense, brown/grey, damp, gravelly sand interpreted as native glacial till is present from <br /> approximately two feet below present ground and extended to the termination depth of 9.5 feet. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br /> I <br />
