' City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 2021 WPCF Trickling Filter Media Replacement UP 3742-3 SECTION 00 1113 -ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2021 Trickling Filter Media Replacement project will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, ' WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May, 4th, 2021. The Purchasing Counter is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The engineer's estimate for this Project is $1,200,000, not including sales tax. The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility located near Everett WA and is seeking a Contractor to replace the existing trickling filter treatment media within the existing Trickling Filter #1, including removal of the structures aluminum domed roof for access, removal of the existing media, replacement of the media support grating, repair ' of any concrete spalling and any coatings, installation of the new media along with resetting the domed roof. The work to install the media will be performed after January 1st, 2022. The Water Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, ' Everett WA. ' Mandatory Pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 9:00 a.m., April 22nd, 2021 and at 1:00p.m., April 29th, 2021 on site at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett, WA. All interested bidders must attend at least one of these scheduled walk-throughs. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the plan holders.
