subconsultants will provide planning and material support for coordination efforts. Stakeholder <br /> involvement during Phase 2 could include, but is not limited to: <br /> • Outreach to public service and utility providers in the corridor to comment on the final design, <br /> traffic control and implementation plans <br /> • Outreach to City of Everett police and fire department representatives for input on traffic control <br /> and implementation plans <br /> • Support consisting of exhibits and graphics to present to the City of Everett TAC meeting. <br /> • Presentations to the City Council to provide project design updates <br /> • Outreach to grant funding partners to keep them appraised of project progress and construction- <br /> readiness in anticipation of securing construction funding <br /> Coordination with WSDOT's ongoing US 2 studies, both eastbound and westbound, will continue through <br /> Phase 2. It is anticipated that WSDOT's planning teams will have comments and input on the design of <br /> the preferred alternative as it progresses through Phase 2. The Consultant will assist the City in preparing <br /> and conducting project updates with the WSDOT planning teams at the 60%, 90% and 100% design <br /> levels to ensure input and concurrence by WSDOT with the final design. It is anticipated that through this <br /> outreach process, WSDOT will incorporate the City's final design for the connection to the US 2 trail in <br /> recommendations for the US 2 interchange modification project(s). <br /> A summary of all outreach efforts and the resulting feedback will be prepared and included with the <br /> project design documentation. <br /> Consultant Deliverables <br /> • Exhibits, graphics and information requests to support stakeholder outreach <br /> • Attendance at or support for stakeholder meetings, TAC and Council presentations and WSDOT <br /> meetings <br /> • Draft, and Final version of the outreach summary and appendices. <br /> Task 2-8 Grant Funding Assistance <br /> The Consultant will provide grant funding assistance to the City, in late 2021 and into 2022, focused on <br /> three grant programs that could be candidates for construction funding for the Project, or a segment of <br /> the Project: <br /> • Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) process for 2022 <br /> • WSDOT Pedestrian/Bicycle program for 2022 <br /> • PSRC Surface Transportation Fund and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Fund for 2022 <br /> The Consultant or the City may identify grant funding opportunities in addition to those listed above and <br /> will provide application assistance as outlined below or as required by the funding agency. <br /> If the project, or a segment of the project, is a good application candidate, the Consultant will prepare the <br /> grant funding applications on behalf of the City. The Consultant will request necessary planning <br /> information and statements to remain consistent with City planning efforts in preparing the grant <br /> application. The plans and estimate prepared for Task 2-6 will inform the grant application and documents <br /> prepared for that task will be included as attachments to the grant funding application. <br /> The Consultant will provide support for interviews as part of the grant application process, including the <br /> preparation of handouts, presentations and supporting and/or delivering the presentation to grant funding <br /> agencies on behalf of the City at the City's request. <br /> Consultant Deliverables <br /> • 2022 TIB grant application for Project construction funding <br /> • 2022 WSDOT Pedestrian/Bicycle program grant application and interview support <br /> transpog(Oup Tr Page 14 <br />
