E. GOLF CAR AND EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS <br /> 1. Vehicle Management <br /> a. The Contractor shall lease and manage the inventory of golf carts available at <br /> each course in an efficient manner that seeks to optimize golf cart revenue and <br /> enhance customer experience. <br /> b. Customers must be eighteen(18)years of age and have a current driver's <br /> license to rent and operate a power golf cart. <br /> c. Golf cart operators must follow all course rules and restrictions. <br /> d. No vehicles, other than golf carts shall be permitted (except as required for <br /> maintenance purposes). <br /> e. The Contractor will track usage relative to green fee counts, a percent of green <br /> fee revenue and to tournaments, outings, leagues, clubs and special event play. <br /> f. Upon approval of the Director,the Contractor may rent or lease on a temporary <br /> basis, additional golf carts for tournaments and special events. <br /> g. The Contractor will keep a log of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as <br /> well as the percentage of the fleet that is operative. <br /> h. Golf carts are to be kept clean and trash free at all times, and neatly staged for <br /> customer convenience. <br /> F. STARTING AND MARSHALLING <br /> 1. Starter Responsibilities <br /> a. Starter Responsibilities are listed in Exhibit A. <br /> b. The Contractor shall provide the services of a Starter at all appropriate times. <br /> 2. Rules of Play <br /> a. Promote speed of play through strict adherence to the United States Golf <br /> Association and local rules of golf, etiquette and traditions of the game. <br /> b. Efficient pace of play is promoted to avoid unnecessary delay. <br /> 3. Marshalling Responsibilities <br /> a. Marshalling Responsibilities are listed in Exhibit A. <br /> 11 <br />
