The comments below must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments including Public Works, Planning, and Fire. Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be submitted to the Building Division for review: a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations. Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project for compliance with the adopted codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence. General: 1. The project appears intended to comply with the requirements of the IRC. However, the proposed structural construction does not conform with the prescriptive design provisions of this code.
