The comments below <br />must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. <br />Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments including Public Works, <br />Planning, and Fire. <br />Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 International Residential <br />Code (IRC), the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy <br />Code (WSEC). <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be <br />submitted to the Building Division for review: <br />a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br />b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br />c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations. <br />Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br />for compliance with the adopted codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application <br />will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence. <br />General: <br />1. The project appears intended to comply with the requirements of the IRC. However, the <br />proposed structural construction does not conform with the prescriptive design provisions of <br />this code. The design has been reviewed per the provisions of the IBC per IRC Section <br />R301.1.3. The comment does not require a response unless the applicant intends to clarify <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
