The hood <br />should be shown to ventilate to the exterior on the architectural plans, with required fire resistive <br />enclosures. <br />Response, WAC 51-52-0507 table 507.1.5 does require a Type 11 hood if more than 1 appliance is <br />used. The wall oven is a single appliance, so we propose a residential style hood. Mechanical <br />contractor will install a 6" x 36" grill in the ceiling above and in front of the oven cabinet that is <br />connected to the building exhaust system -See Revised A.2B.1 <br />�Cornment #2A: <br />,/ Please list any other kitchen equipment on.the plans <br />Response: All kitchen equipment is shown on the A.2C.1 Equipment list. Kitchen is to be a typical <br />office break room with an occasional catering function, not a commercial kitchen. <br />Comment #3: <br />Please indicate the wall ceiling details with a minimum 2" flange, per the Northwest Wall and <br />Ceiling Bureau technical document 401. <br />Response: The only are of new ceiling grid and tiles occurs in the Elevator Lobby. Per existing detail <br />F/A.9.3, the free end of the grid is secure to the wall with a 2" flange. <br />Accessibility <br />Comment #1: <br />Elevations of all tenant improvements should be shown on the drawings to indicate fixture <br />locations, clearances, heights, per IBC ANSI Al 17.1-2009 Chapters 6 and 9. <br />Response: All accessories have been elevated for typical heights to meet ANSI requirements per <br />elevations on Sheets A.5.0 and A.5.1. Plan locations have been indicated on Enlarged Plan K/.5.0 <br />Comment #1A: <br />The location of the new toilet is not shown on the drawings. <br />'Response: See Revised A.5.0 - new toilet in accessible shower room 216 is now dimensioned. All <br />other toilets and the urinal to be installed on existing carriers. <br />/ Comment #1 B: <br />✓ The new shower should indicate the type of accessible shower per the standards. <br />Response: Per Keyed Note #1 on sheet A.5.0., this is an Alternate Roll -In Style Shower. <br />
