Listed below are responses to your comments <br />with the location of the revisions. <br />General <br />JComment #1: <br />The codes listed on the drawings should be the 2015 codes as listed at the end of this letter. <br />Response: Will Comply - See Revised G.0.0 <br />Comment #2: <br />Please identify the compliance path with the IEBC. <br />Response: We are anticipating a Prescriptive Compliance Method for Level-2 Alterations per IEBC <br />V/504.1. Accessibility upgrades to the space exceed 20% of the total construction value. The <br />established valuation for this project is $125,000, of which $25,000 is to be utilized for increasing the <br />accessibility of the space. Areas where this has been utilized are: <br />• New accessible Unisex Restroom with accessible shower for a total of $25,000.00. Includes <br />new fixtures, accessories, and casework. <br />• New accessible vanities and accessories in each of the existing men's and women's <br />restrooms, for a total of $7,000.00 <br />• All new construction and casework is accessible per ANSI A117.1 <br />Comment #3: <br />The code analysis should indicate if the building has an automatic detection system. <br />Response: <br />Will comply - see revised sheet G.0.0 - the building has a fire alarm / detection system <br />Comment #4: <br />J The code analysis indicates that the building is not sprinkled, but previous permit indicate that it is. <br />lease clarify. <br />Response: Will comply - see Revised G.O.O. The Parking garage levels of the building are sprinkled, <br />however the office floors are not and have a fire alarm system. <br />/ Comment #5: <br />J The construction type indicated I-B on the code analysis, but previous permits indicate I -A. Please <br />clarify. <br />Response: Will comply - see Revised G.O.O. I have verified with the building architect that <br />construction type is I -A. <br />l � tJ <br />
