Only one copy of the drawings was submitted. Two copies are required. <br />• Submitted electronically to customer. <br />2. The proposed work includes the removal of a number of interior walls. It is presumed <br />that these are non -bearing walls. A note should be included in the drawings for the <br />contractor to verify. <br />• No interior load bearing walls. <br />• See Notes Legend Note 5, Sheet 1 of 3. <br />3. A detail should be provided for the construction of the walls. The walls should have top <br />and bottom connections or bracing. The walls, and their connections and bracing, should <br />be designed to support a minimum 5 psf live load per IBC Section 1607.14. <br />• Walls meet 5 psf live load in accordance with IBC Section 1607.14. <br />• Walls no longer have rigid connection to trusses. See Detail B, Sheet 2 of 3. <br />4. The occupant classification for the space should be specified per Chapter 3. The <br />occupancy appears to be `B". <br />• Verified. See Occupancy Calculation Table and Notes Legend Note 7, Sheet 1 of <br />3. <br />• Occupant classification is Group B (Barber and Beauty Shops). <br />5. The occupant load should be stated in the drawings. Note that based on the area of the <br />space and the proposed layout, the occupant load appears to be over 15. See Table <br />1004.1.2 and the exception of Section 1004.1.2. <br />• Verified. The occupancy is below 15. See Occupancy Calculations Table, Sheet 1 <br />of 3. <br />
