The comments below <br />must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. <br />Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments including Public Works, <br />Planning, and Fire. <br />Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 International Building Code <br />(IBC), the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property <br />Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International <br />Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 International Energy Conservation (IECC), and the 2012 <br />Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). The current IBC referenced standard for accessible <br />design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICCJANSI A117.1). Federal <br />ADA, FHA, and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines, <br />may be more restrictive. References to other design standards include the current edition. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation should be <br />submitted to the Building Division for review: <br />a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br />b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br />c. One copy of supplemental structural calculations. <br />Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br />for compliance with the adopted codes.
