0 0
Mr. Rich Boyd
Cesco NW Acquisition LLC
Plan Check Number: B2101-005, First Building Review
March 11, 2021
have been provided and relocated on the floor plan. The bi-level, non -refrigerated fountains
comply with ANSI 117.1, ADA, ANSI/NSF 61, and NSF/ANSI 372 - Listed by Underwriters
Laboratories to US standards. The T-shape'access is outlined on the revised floor plan.
6. The New Floor Plan on Sheet A-3 shows two mechanical rooms behind the dryers. The rooms
are required to have a minimum 36-inch wide clearance for all passageways. This should be
specified in the drawing. Note that the clearances around the water heaters and behind the
dryers in the north mechanical room do not appear to comply. See IMC Section 306.2: The
clearance behind the west bank of dryers is 3'-7" to provide access to electrical panel C-2.'
Required clearance behind the north bank of dryers is provided and noted on the plan.
Clearances to the front controls and connections for the water heaters are noted on the revised
plan; no access is required to the rear of the water heaters.
7. The building includes electrical panels in multiple locations that do not appear to provide the
minimum required electrical clearance per NEC-20 Section 110.26. The type and capacity of
each panel should be specified, and the minimum required clearance from the panel(s) to all
obstructions should be specified. No clearances should be less than 36 inches; the required
clearances may be larger and should be determined. The specifics of the electrical panels can
be found on the Electrical drawings. Clearances for the panels have been noted on the revised
floor plan; clearances are compliant and greater than 36 inches.
This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and
amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made
during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit
requirements. The designers -of -record are responsible for a complete design in accordance with
the laws of the state of Washington.
If you have any questions or require additional clarification, please contact us.
Respectfully,
Drew Martin, P.E., S.E.
Associate Engineer / Commercial Plans Examiner
(425)257-8813
dmartin@everettwa.gov
C:\Users\Mark Preston\Documents\Old Documents\Documents\AADRAWS\2020\Laundry
Genius\B2101-005_R1.wpd
3200 Cedar Street ® 425.257.8810
Everett, WA 98201 425.257.8857 fax
everetteps@everettwa.gov
everettwa.gov/permits
