General stormwater notes regarding the detention system as currently designed:
• Do not use steel CMP pipe for the detention system. CMP must be aluminum, or used one of the
Jother approved pipe materials listed in the City of Everett Standard drawing #418
See notes on sheet C3.2
• The minimum size of the connecting pipe between the detention pipe and the upstream and
Jdownstream structures is 48"
Revised pipe to be 48" diameter
• Provide details for the detention pip and flow control manhole with restrictor assembly
J See attached details
• The riser is described as 8" riser in the stormwater site plan, but the model inputs show a 24"
riser was used in the calculations. Update the site plan anddesign to match the modeling
calculations.
See detail5JC3.2
• Access to the detention facility shall be provided for maintenance by vactor truck
J See attached communication from Brian Doolan saying the design meets the requirements for
vactor truck access.
9. A DCVA is required on the irrigation service and shall be located in an underground vault downstream of
Jthe meter.
DCVA shown on sheet C2.0
12. The existing water main on Lombard Ave is a 12" cast iron main from 1956. The landscape plans show
planters and trees over or in close proximity to the 12" cast iron main. These raised planter bed
structures will not be allowed in the vicinity of the main unless the development team chooses to
relocate the 12" water main to the West on Lombard Ave.
Landscape plans now show the planter boxes removed.
13. The side sewer shall connect to the sanitary sewer main at a manhole if 20 units or more served by the
side sewer. Verify the side sewer size is adequate for the number of units being served by adding
plumbing calculations per the 2015 UPC to the sewer plans.
.."_..
flµ
