• <br /> August 11, 2021 <br /> Council Member Roberts requested that Julie come back to Council as soon as <br /> possible when better information is obtained on the CARES Act allocation and <br /> information on rental assistance and the impacts on Everett's housing <br /> marketplace due to COVID-19. He stated he would like to hear recommendations <br /> on the best approach to find more resources for housing to assist the City in <br /> developing appropriate requests at the federal, state, and local levels. <br /> Council Member Bader suggested the use of American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds <br /> for additional pallet shelter units. He also expressed concern about the unsafe <br /> nature of public camping and the need to focus on individuals who will not accept <br /> help.
