I < r' <br /> An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location <br /> and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; <br /> limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building <br /> lines and size of yard, and other open spaces; providing <br /> /for the division of the City into use zones and creating <br /> a Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for vi- <br /> olation of the Ordinance; amending Title 15 of the official <br /> code of the City of Everett, Sections 15.04.030, Sections <br /> 15.04.080, Sections 15.04.160, Sections 15.04.330, Sections <br /> 15.04.350, Sections 15.04.360, Sections 15.04.370, Sections <br /> 15.04.410 and Sections 15.04.420. <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Council of the City of Everett, <br /> pursuant to public hearing, has recommended the changes <br /> herein after listed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1: That the following Sections of Title 15 <br /> of the official code of the City of Everett be and are <br /> hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 15.04.030 Definitions For the purpose of <br /> this ordinance, certain terms and words are hereby de- <br /> fined. When not inconsistent with the context, words <br /> used in the present tense shall include the future; <br /> the singular number shall include the plural, and <br /> the plural the singular; and the word "shall" is man- <br /> datory and not merely permissive. <br /> The definitions are as follows: <br /> A. GENERAL: <br /> 1. Amendment. An official change in the wording, <br /> context, or substance of this ordinance; an officia <br /> change in the boundaries or classifications upon the <br /> zoning map. <br />
