With a strong background in structural field geology, Mr. Chinn's <br /> experience includes extensive time performing his own research as well as contributing to <br /> ongoing studies with his geologic mapping, laboratory methods, and informed interpretation. <br /> Representative Project Experience <br /> As a staff field geologist, Mr. Chinn has been a contributor to many Phase I and II Environmental <br /> Site Assessments, has successfully executed many Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) surveys, <br /> infiltration testing, geotechnical monitoring of shoring and structural pile installations, <br /> extensive nuclear gauge testing, and has assisted with Dual Phase Extraction (DPE) pilot studies. <br /> Furthermore, Mr. Chinn has produced countless soil logs and samples for both environmental <br /> and geotechnical purposes, contributing to subsurface sampling events throughout the Pacific <br /> Northwest. Working alongside a variety of different drilling methods, Mr. Chinn is well-versed <br /> in field-screening techniques for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including use of a gas <br /> analyzer equipped with a photo ionization detector (PID)to aid in informed sample selection. <br /> Mr. Chinn has also been utilized as an assistant driller, aiding in the use of a direct-push <br /> GeoProbe on environmental investigations.
