1 <br /> • <br /> • <br /> One Deputy City Treasurer; one Assistant Deputy <br /> City Treasurer; one Water Cashier; one Assistant <br /> Water Cashier; one Clerk-Bookkeeper; one Billing <br /> Machine Operator; one Billing Machine Operator & <br /> Secretary; one or more Extra Clerks (part time) . <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies and assistants to <br /> perform the duties pertaining to the office and as directed by <br /> the City Treasurer or the Commissioner of Finance. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY <br /> SECTION 11: PARKING METER DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employees in the <br /> Parking Meter Department, to-wit: <br /> Two Parking Meter Servicemen. <br /> It shall be the duty of such employees to perform the duties as <br /> directed by the Commissioner of Safety. (1. 16.120) <br /> SECTION 12: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assist- <br /> ants in the Police Department, to-wit: <br /> One Chief; six Captains, one of whom shall be used <br /> as Administrative Asst. ; thirteen Sergeants, two <br /> of whom may be assigned as supervisors; twenty-nine <br /> Fifth Year Patrolmen; four Fourth Year Patrolmen; <br /> no Third Year Patrolmen; two Second Year Patrolmen; <br /> five First Year Patrolmen; two First Class Police- <br /> women; two Clerk-Stenographers; one Clerk- <br /> Stenographer (part time ) ; one Policewoman, 3rd Class. <br /> It shall be the duty of the officers and assistants in said Police <br /> Department to perform the duties indicated by the name of their <br /> employment, and such other duties as the Chief of Police or <br /> Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. (1. 16.130) <br /> SECTION 13: GARAGE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employees in the <br /> Garage Department, to-wit: <br /> One Mechanic; one Relief Mechanic (part time ) . <br /> It shall be the duty of such employees to perform the duties as <br /> directed by the Commissioner of Public Safety.
