<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. __________ <br /> <br />An Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled “Howarth Park - Sport Court Renovation”, <br />Fund 354, Program 071, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City of Everett is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as part of the <br />City of Everett Parks & Community Services Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />B. The City of Everett is requesting funding approval for the utilization of Capital Improvement <br />Program 3 (CIP3) to renovate a sport court in the City Parks system; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 071, and shall be <br />entitled “Howarth Park - Sport Court Renovation” to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 354, <br />Program 071 for the improvement project. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Director, under direction of the <br />Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br />accomplish the action authorized in this ordinance. <br />Section 4. The sum of $317,396 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 071, “Howarth Park - <br />Sport Court Renovation” as follows: <br /> <br />A. Estimated Project Costs <br />Construction $317,396 <br /> Total Estimated Costs $317,396 <br /> <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />Washington State Recreation and $ 52,828 <br />Conservation Office grant <br />Fund 354-CIP3 $264,568 <br /> Total Estimated Funds $317,396 <br />
