Diking Improvement District#5 September 2,2021 Page 2 <br /> GeoEngineers will review the documentation provided for the Smith Island Advance Mitigation site to <br /> identify functions and values associated with the Smith Island Advance Mitigation Site and advise the <br /> district on response to agency comments. <br /> Task 4- Permitting and regulatory assistance(contingency placeholder) <br /> GeoEngineers will perform additional services at the request of the Everett Public Works Department <br /> (EPWD) project manager up to$3,000 of staff time and related expenses. <br /> Assumptions <br /> To develop the scope and fee for Tasks 1 through 4 above, we made the following assumptions: <br /> • Snohomish County Public Works staff will be available in a timely manner and willing to assist with <br /> development of a revised monitoring approach to align with the Districts Advance Mitigation <br /> performance monitoring requirements. <br /> • The assessment of mitigation credits and advising the District on how to respond to agency <br /> comments does not include coordination with Agency staff, preparation of additional <br /> documentation for submittal to agencies. <br /> in Task 4 will be initiated only at EPWD's express request. A scope and budget will be developed and <br /> approved in writing for that task. <br /> Deliverables <br /> in Task 1: Monthly invoices. <br /> • Task 2: Revised monitoring methods section. <br /> • Task 3: Up to three,one-paragraph responses to comments. <br /> • Task 4:TBD <br /> FEE ESTIMATE AND TERMS <br /> We are able to begin work within 2 weeks after receiving your authorization to proceed.
