STORMWATER SITE PLAN FEBRUARY 26, 2018 <br />MUKILTEO SCHOOL DISTRICT- TRANSPORTATION PAGE 7 <br />MR 3: WATER POLLUTION SOURCE CONTROL <br />CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER BMPs <br />A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, SWPPP, will be part of the construction drawings to <br />be prepared for the project. It is anticipated that it will include the following erosion control <br />Best Management Practices: <br />High Visibility Fencing (BMP C103) <br />Use in combination with BMP C233, silt fence. <br />Construction Road/Parking Area Stabilization (BMP C107) <br />Used by placing the road section gravel base layer to stabilize subgrade. <br />Temporary & Permanent Seeding (BMP C120) <br />Permanent seeding shall be used to stabilize exposed soils. <br />Mulching (BMP C121) <br />Stabilize exposed surfaces with 4" sterile straw mulch when surfaces are to be unworked for <br />the seasonal time frames listed in the TESC Notes and SWPPP Narrative. <br />Plastic Covering (BMP C123) <br />Use plastic sheathing to protect stockpiles. Stabilize with sand bags connected with rope. <br />Topsoil ing/C:omposting (BMP C125) <br />Existing topsoil will be retained for reuse. <br />Dust Control (BMP C140) <br />Contractor shall implement measures to prevent wind transport of dust from soil surfaces.
