City of Everett
Parking Access and Revenue Control System
Telephone Support
C. Describe your telephone support for parking management operator. How long is telephone
support provided with the system set-up?
Telephone support will be provided directly from the vendor throughout the construction, testing,
training, and handover of a fully functional access and revenue control system. After handover,
our local representative will provide telephone and/or email support. Phone support will continue
to be provided by local support of Time Equipment Company as long as the Annual Service
Agreement is in place.
Training Options
D. Describe and provide options for the training of the City of Everett and its parking operator
staff in the general operation and maintenance of the equipment including the hardware and
software. Include costs for the separate training options.
Orbility can deliver training onsite or virtually.
We recommend a minimum of two 2-hour classes per day for a total of no more than six (6)
training classes. Classes can be repeated to accommodate shift workers while maintaining
parking operations. The final number of classes will be mutually determined and may affect the
proposed price.
Training sessions will cover hardware and software operations. The hardware portion will cover
what is in the devices and basic first line maintenance tasks. The software portion will cover the
Pay on Foot devices, as well as Multipark Web and Easy Reporting. Agendas can be provided on
request. All training will be at the user level.
Option 1 — Onsite Training
Training materials will be distributed in hard copy prior to classes. The onsite Orbility trainer can
be available to the City anytime between classes.
The training classes will be held in a facility of the City's choosing. Depending on class size (if
greater than four (4) participants), the Orbility trainer will need AV technology (screen and
projector, or connection to large flatscreen TV) to be made available at the training site. Access
(wired or wireless) to the same network as the installed equipment is required (this can be in the
form of a VPN connection, if needed).
The cost of this training program is $6,765.00 as stated in the price form.
Option 2 — On -Line Training
Training materials will be distributed in electronic format prior to classes.
On -Line classes will be held via a mutually acceptable modern enterprise audio/video
conferencing tool such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We recommend Zoom.
The cost of this training program is $2,640.00 as stated in the price form.
- Orbility
Page 25
