' 1.2 Pro osedsitedevelopment Construction v
p
of Description (example:Acti subdivisionities ):
ILight Industrial and Commercial
I Description of construction activities (example: site preparation, demolition, excavation):
This project proposes the construction of a light industrial multi use buildings on a cleared lot in
the Riverside Industrial District. Proposed improvements also include the installation of a storm
I drainage system to serve the development. Phase 1 of the project previously built the water
quality facitlities and the river outfall that the Phase 2 storm facilities will tie into.
1 Construction activities will include site preparation, TESC installation, excavation for utilities and
foundations, grading, utility installation, asphalt paving, concrete pours, and landscaping.
Description of site drainage including flow from and onto adjacent properties. Must be consistent
with Site Map in Appendix A:
IThe site is entirely vacant of existing structures and significant vegetation. The existing grade of
the site is about 10' higher than the adjacent properties, as a result flow onto the site is
negligible. Flow from the site will be discharged after treatment into the Snohomish River.
Description of final stabilization (example: extent of revegetation, paving, landscaping):
IIn final conditions the developed site will be fully stabilized with paving of access drives and
onsite parking, onsite landscaping will be seeded and planted to comply with City of Everett
I guidelines. Storm drainage is designed to convey the 100 year rainfall event and to treat runoff
per the Snohomish county and the city of Everett drainage guidelines and will discharge into the
Snohomish River.
II
Contaminated Site Information:
I Proposed activities regarding contaminated soils or groundwater(example: on-site treatment
system, authorized sanitary sewer discharge):
A portion of the proposed stormwater outfall was installed below the Weyerhaeuser working
I
surface (further described in the Environmental Media Management Plan, prepared by Terra
Associates, dated May 7, 2017) in remediation area 7-2A (RA7-2A). In the event that
contaminated soils are found, the contaminated solids will be segregated and placed on plastic
1 sheeting and covered. Interceptor dikes will be provided at the base of the stockpile area. The
contaminated solids will be routed offsite to a Waste Management facility for disposal. In the
event that contaminated soils are found, contaminated dewatering water will be stored onsite
Iand discharged to the nearest active sewer under permit.
I
I
Page IS
