Please review and <br />respond to the comments below. <br />NON-STRUCTURAL <br />General <br />1) This review is based on the 90% submittal set — the 100% set has not yet been received. <br />2) There is proposed work occurring to the Inmate Holding areas on several floors within the <br />existing building. Code sheet GI-104 classifies this I-3 Occupancy as accessory to the <br />Group B Occupancy with no fire -resistive separations required. As Section 508.2.1 still <br />requires all other provisions pertaining to the I-3 Occupancy to be complied with (other <br />than separations, building height and allowable area) — please provide a narrative of how <br />the provisions of Section 408 are satisfied. <br />3) Electric vehicle charging infrastructure should be provided in accordance with Section 427. <br />4) It should be clarified if the existing building is currently provided with an emergency <br />voice/alarm communication system as specified in Section 907.2.1.1. <br />5) Wainscoting should be shown for the toilet rooms in elevations 17 & 18 on Sheet IQ-201. <br />Section 1210.2.2 <br />Construction <br />
