1) Listings for both the TGP Firelight Plus and TYCO sprinkler assemblies should be provided. <br />The specific proposed product should be shown to be within the listing specifications for <br />the proposed use and minimum fire -rating per code. Section 716.2 <br />2) A listing for the WON doors should be provided. Section 703.2 <br />3) Fire -resistive listings and assembly details should be provided for the steel columns, <br />beams, roof/ceiling and floor/ceiling assemblies. Sections 703.1 & 704.1 <br />a. Special inspection requirements should be noted on the plans for the sprayed fire- <br />resistant materials. Section 1705.4 <br />4) If the steel columns in Details 15 & 16 on Sheet A-503 and 2 on Sheet A-502 are part of <br />the structural frame, they will need to be provided with fire -resistive protection. Sections <br />704.2 & 602.1 <br />5) The listing for the two-hour, fire -resistive GWB cover around the steel column within the <br />wall shown in Detail 9 on sheet A-503 should be shown on the plans (an any similar). <br />Section 704.2 <br />6) Two-hour partition Type N on Sheet I-321 should have a listing provided on the detail. <br />Section 703.1 <br />7) It is not apparent why doors 4620 and 4600B are 90-minute rated as shown on the door <br />schedule. <br />8) The elevator machine room door is rated however the (southern) wall it is in is not rated: <br />section 3005.4 would not appear to require a fire -resistive separation. <br />9) The plywood in partition type 3 on Sheet I-322 should be shown as FRT as it represents <br />a building element from Table 601 that is required to be non-combustible (non -rated) and <br />is also not blocking within the wall cavity (but the wall itself). Exceptions 1.1 and 14 to <br />Section 603.1 <br />10) A listing should be provided that shows the proposed fire -stopping at the curtain walls has <br />been tested in accordance with ASTM E 2307 and provides a minimum two-hour F rating. <br />Section 715.4 <br />11)The standpipe locations should be shown in the new stairs. Section 905.3.2 <br />12)A detail and listing for the two-hour, fire -rated ceiling shown Stair Section 1 Sheet I-415 <br />13) The fire-resistant penetrations, joints and perimeter fire -stopping should be noted as a <br />special inspection item requirement. Section 1705.17 <br />Egress <br />1) For clarity, the assembly use areas that do not have occupant loads of 50 or more should <br />be shown as Group B occupancies on the GV-1xx series sheets. Section 303.1.1 <br />2) The nomenclature and location of maximum occupant load signs for the Group A <br />occupancies should be shown on the plans.
