NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Everett City Council endorses the Citizen Advisory Committee's priority and criteria for 2022 and encourages qualified agencies to submit proposals that meet these priorities. 2. Program and Projects to be funded with CDBG-CV funds: Public Service Projects (Priority) Funding ChildStrive (Food Security) Address food security in the Casino Road neighborhood of Everett in response to $37,923.93 COVID-19 impacts. Volunteers of America (Food Security) Funds will support a food truck,staffing and food costs for Everett residents in the $125,000.00 Casino Road neighborhood. Compass Health (Housing Security) Funding to support Emergency Motel Voucher Program (EMVP)which provides $30,811.00 motel vouchers to homeless individuals and those experiencing housing challenges in Everett in response to COVID-19. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Hotel Vouchers (Housing Security) Provide hotel vouchers to victims of domestic violence and their families to ensure $10,000.00 social isolation,safety,and confidentiality in response to and prevention of COVID- 19. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Emergency Shelter (Housing Security) Provide additional shelter staffing, rental assistance,shelter cleaning costs and $87,287.80 administration for domestic violence victims and their families that have been impacted by COVID-19. Hand in Hand (Housing Security) Funds will be used for Rental Assistance for low-moderate income Everett $189,153.52 households that have been impacted by COVID-19. Interfaith (Housing Security) $46,135.20 Provide emergency housing for families facing homelessness. Snohomish County Legal Services (Housing Security) Provide pro-bono legal services to prevent and aid in evictions and housing $60,535.86 mediation for low-income households,with the intent to prevent homelessness due to Covid-19. moo RESOLUTION Page 3 of 5
