• Three 0-ring packs with lube for bottles (one at each precinct and one in the armorer's armory). <br /> • Six boxes of PAVA/OC projectiles. Each box contains 150 rounds,equaling 900 total rounds. Each <br /> less-than-lethal launcher magazine has a fifteen-round capacity, equaling 180 rounds (12*15) <br /> needed for the initial deployment.An additional 180 rounds are needed for back-up and reloading <br /> capabilities to be stored in the carrying case in vehicles, and an additional 390 rounds are needed <br /> to replace the rounds in the magazines and cases. <br /> • Six boxes of yellow indelible paint marking projectiles. Each box contains 150 rounds. Same <br /> justification for number of rounds as the PACA/OC detailed in the bullet point above. <br /> • Twenty boxes of training projectiles. Each box contains 150 rounds,totaling 3000 rounds. These <br /> rounds are used for the initial training. Each member of the Everett Police Department below the <br /> rank of lieutenant will be trained in the use of the compressed air less-than-lethal launchers. <br /> There are fifteen members of the department at the rank of lieutenant or above, leaving 192 <br /> members requiring training. Each person requires fifteen rounds in the initial training, totaling <br /> 2,880 rounds. Additionally, personnel who wish to remain qualified on the use of the compressed <br /> air less-than-lethal launcher are required to qualify by deploying fifteen rounds semi-annually. <br /> • Three SCUBA tanks for air filling stations (one at each precinct and one in the armorer's armory). <br /> • One less-than-lethal training target system for training and qualifications. <br /> • One armorer's tool kit containing all the necessary tools and equipment to inspect, repair, and <br /> maintain the compressed air less-than-lethal launchers. <br /> The equipment acquired under this RFP is intended to be used by members of the Special Operations <br /> Group and the Operations division,which includes patrol and specialty units supporting patrol. Personnel <br /> who are trained and who have qualified with the compressed air less-than-lethal launchers will be <br /> authorized to check out and carry the launchers while on-duty. The purchase of eight additional launchers <br /> for the Operations division, combined with the four previously purchased launchers, equates to twelve <br />
