This Resolution will determine that the City intends to use $1,000,000 of these funds for the Everett Forward Grant (EFG) Program for one-time grants to businesses and other applicants to move Everett's economy forward out of the pandemic. The required budget amendment to properly track the funding for the EFG Program is scheduled for December 1, 2021. Project summary statement: The Everett Forward Grant Program is in response to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis.. Eligibility for the grants will be as determined under the applicable laws and regulations that govern Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, but generally grants must be targeted to address an economic harm resulting from or exacerbated by the COVID-19 public health emergency. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt Resolution regarding the Everett Forward Grant program.
