Aisle and aisle <br />accessways in spaces used for assembly pur- <br />poses are specifically addressed in :;Section <br />1029. <br />• Section 10 19 provides criteria for when an open <br />stairway between floors can serve as a required <br />exit access stairway, <br />• Section 1020 deals with another type of con- <br />fined part of the exit access path: corridors. <br />- Section 1021 addresses egress balconies, <br />where the path of travel to the exterior exit stair- <br />way is partially open to the exterior. <br />1016.2 Egmss througlk intervening spirces. Egress through <br />intervening spaces shall comply with this section. <br />1. r-vii access through an enclosed elevator lobby is per- <br />mitled. Access to not less than one of the required exits <br />shall be provided without travel through the enclosed <br />elevator lobbies required by Section 3000.
