Element 9: Control Pollutants (2.1.9) <br />The following pollutants are anticipated to be present on -site: <br />Table 2 — Pollutants <br />Pollutant (and source, if applicable) <br />Sediment <br />If any other contaminants are encountered during construction, the contractor shall notify the <br />owner and city of Everett. Under no circumstances shall surface water from contaminated <br />material be allowed to discharge to the river without approprioate treatment. The contractor <br />shall employ the use of alternate measures such as chemical treatment, or shall dispose of <br />contaminated water and soils in an approprioate facility. <br />List and describe BMPs: Source Control and Runoff Conveyance/Treatment BMP's listed <br />above. Sediment and soils containing recycled asphalt are generally present onsite and will be <br />handled according to the methods stated in the sections above. No other known contaiminants <br />have been identified in the subject area. <br />Installation Schedules: Install BMP's as noted in sections above <br />Inspection and Maintenance plan: Inspect and Maintain BMP's as noted in sections above. <br />Responsible Staff: <br />Contractor's CESCL - TBD <br />Will maintenance, fueling, and/or repair of heavy equipment and vehicles occur on -site? <br />No <br />Will wheel wash or tire bath system BMPs be used during construction? <br />No <br />Will pH -modifying sources be present on -site? <br />No <br />
