On Sheet A3.0, interior walls called out as 102.1 in the section cut, appear to be bearing walls. If these walls are
intended to be non -load bearing, please provide details de -coupling the walls from the trusses otherwise please
provide calculations and details justifying that the trusses members can withstand reactions from the bearing
walls as well as withstand lateral loads, as these appear to also be shear walls. Also, please note that it appears
that footings are to be provided if these interior walls are intended to be bearing/shear walls. IRC R301.1.3.
Thank you,
_ James Bronder, P.E., S.E.
Associate Engineer — Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8810 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT Hours: Monday — Friday 7:30am-12:OOpm and 1:OOpm-4:OOpm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
