Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />1. All spaces in the dwelling shall be labeled for the intended use of the space. All labels shall be <br />unique to each space such as Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Dining Room, Living Room etc. <br />Response — Added. <br />2. Provide Smoke Alarms per section R314 IRC. Show location on all floor levels. <br />Response — Combination alarms are currently installed per requirements and one additional Combination alarm will <br />be installed in the addition. See A-01, A-02, A-03 <br />3. Provide Carbon Monoxide Detectors per section R315 IRC. Show location on all floor levels. <br />Response — Combination alarms are currently installed per the following and one additional Combination alarm will <br />be installed in the addition. See A-01, A-02, A-03 <br />4. Show how the existing Dining Room and Kitchen are provided with natural light. Show the existing <br />windows and doors throughout the existing residence on each floor level. <br />Response — I have added all of the existing windows and doors to the plans as requested. This should resolve the question. <br />5. There appears to be a door missing on the floor plan at the Basement level between existing shop <br />and the basement. This door is required to be a self -closing wood door, minimum 1-3/8 inch thick. <br />Response —The door was missing, thank you for noticing that. It is currently a self -closing wood door meeting the specified <br />requirements. <br />6. Specify tempered safety glass in hazardous locations as defined in Section R308 IRC. Label on the <br />plans all windows required to be safety glass. <br />Response —Tempered glass noted on A-01. <br />7. Provide details for construction of the required guard (at deck) on the plans.
