0
PUBLIC WORKS
b. Plans:
1. Sheet DR 1- Exiting CB's in the to -remain parking lot should be removed or have
solid lids as indicated in the attached markups. This area is included in the tributary
area to the detention facility. The plan needs to ensure that water is routed to the
facility and to avoid future confusion about where the runoff is intended to be routed.
2. General Notes on DRl and DR2 reference WSDOT grate standards. Citv standard
plans should be referenced instead.
3. Sheet DD2 — the pretreatment manhole detail plan view references a frame and grate
detail, but none is provided.
4. Note that access lids for both the CDS unit and Modular Wetland must comply with
DCSS Section 4-4.2(3), including hinged grates for oversize lids.
5. The Modular Wetland Tables identifies the 2 year flow as 0.0910. The calcs in the
SSP list the 2 year flow as 0.16. Please ensure that these two values are consistent.
6. The flow control structure must be designed in accordance with the DCSS and City
Standard Plan 415. Some notable discrepancies are:
• Do not include a mesh cover over the bottom of the riser.
• Orifices must be a minimum of 0.25 inches. Please revise the design of the
second orifice.
3. The comments below were generated from this project's Planning Reviewer. If you have any
questions regarding these comments, please contact Dave Tyler with the City of Everett Planning
Department (425-257-7164 or DTylergeverettwa.goy).
a. Interior Parking Lot Landscaping (Sheet LS 1) — The plans show a total of 16 trees within
the interior of the parking lot. The standard for interior landscaping within the C-2ES
zone is one tree per four parking stalls. For the 90 parking stalls, a total of 23 trees is
required.
b. Please provide a revised layout/landscape plan showing 23 trees within the interior of the
parking lot.
